Crieff to Comrie via Loch Turret and The HIgh Road
10.10.2011 - 10.10.2011
Local Events, Crieff and Perthshire

Monday October 10th - Hard This is a very fine and little known linear walk which commands spectacular views of the Strathearn valley and surrounding mountains. It follows what was most almost certainly one of the droving routes into Crieff , and there is plenty of evidence of ancient settlements. From Loch Turret the track contours around the southern flank of Ben Chonzie above the haunting ruins of Braefordie. A stone circle is an exceptional viewpoint. The route then descends into the lovely Glen Lednock via Balmuick and on into Comrie
